In 1995, I slipped from software development into a business and social change that is not easy to describe and is still awkwardly called «the Internet».

As a longtime partner and CEO of the full-service provider Namics until 2021, I worked on technical issues, but more importantly on user experience, service design and business model innovation in various industries. I have always been fascinated by understanding the basics, which is why I still invest a lot of time in teaching computational thinking and AI literacy.

But my heart beats for people doing things, and for innovation that serves us and our planet - as outlined in the SDGs. The concept of the circular economy is also central to me.

I have been working at the intersection of startups and innovation for more than three years. As an angel investor, but also with Kickstart Innovation and START Global. Two Swiss startup initiatives with a global reach. And the rest of the time I'm outdoors, preferably in the mountains with all kinds of equipment.
