My start at diselva
from Ursin Saluz at
After reflecting on the eternal tug-of-war between stability and innovation in my recent posts You build it, you run it in the Alps: DevOps and agile development at the Weisse Arena Group and Stability vs: DevOps and the challenges, I've now arrived at diselva and it feels good - like coming home and starting something new at the same time.
Coming home? Yes, somehow
I have known many of the faces at diselva for a long time, from our time together at Namics/Merkle. I've learned a lot from them and it's great to be working with these experienced professionals again. There is a good basic understanding, which makes it easier to get started.
What does diselva do?
We are a consulting company that combines comprehensive business understanding with in-depth technology know-how. Each member of our team has advised and supported companies in a wide range of industries on a large number of projects - this is what makes our experience so special. We take a technology-agnostic approach, looking for the right solution for the customer and their challenges, not for a specific product. Complexity does not scare us, we tackle the hard stuff. This includes supporting customers with agile methods or in key roles to successfully implement digital transformation projects.
Compact and pragmatic
The advantage of a compact team? Experience is close at hand, distances are short. No long back and forth, but a direct exchange. We are pragmatic, solution-oriented and help each other. This works well and makes the work exciting and enjoyable.
And what about me?
I am glad to be back in my element. I enjoy not only creating concepts, but also getting hands-on and building technical solutions. Here I can apply my experience and knowledge from my further education and work on smart solutions for customers.
The way forward
I look forward to continuing to learn from my experienced colleagues - the exchange here is valuable. I also like to pass on my experience and support customers in their digital transformation: Be it business models, product management, design or technical implementation and evaluation. There is a lot to do.
So it's a good mix of the familiar and the new. A bit like arriving and making a fresh start at the same time. I'm excited to see what the future holds for diselva and will keep you posted!
