Uze AG provides services across the entire lifecycle of a property. Its portfolio is broad and diverse – in addition to classic residential and workplace projects, Uze AG also successfully operates three hotels and two restaurants.
For the review of the technological aspects of Uze AG’s digital transformation, diselva was brought in – with specific focus areas ranging from process automation to the evaluation of a new Hotel PMS / ERP system.

What did we do?
Architecture Review
- General review of the current software landscape, assessment of the software in use regarding future viability and shortcomings
- Design of a target solution architecture including gap analysis and a derived transformation roadmap
- Identification of technology focus areas, e.g. validation of the implemented DMS solution as a foundation for further rollout, including quick-win recommendations to resolve current issues
- Identification of integration and automation potential
- Resolution of infrastructure-related questions between Uze AG and its sister company Bühler AG, which provides full-service support for certain areas
Hotel Property Management System (PMS) Evaluation
A streamlined evaluation was carried out – with strong vendor involvement – for a new Hotel PMS (ERP) to support the operations of the three hotels, partly including integrated restaurants.
Note: The urgency of replacing the existing software was given, as it had definitively reached end-of-life.
- Collection of requirements through interviews with stakeholders from hospitality & gastronomy, finance, marketing, and IT
- Joint creation of a vendor longlist of 32 systems, followed by definition of a balanced shortlist of 4 systems across different PMS categories
- Execution of a pragmatic tender process including vendor presentations with focus on 11 demo use cases targeting key requirements such as multi-property management
- Evaluation together with Uze AG stakeholders, consolidation into a comparison and recommendation of a Hotel PMS for the next steps
Hotel PMS Onboarding Phase
- Deep dive with the preferred Hotel PMS provider across several aspects – from integrations with gastronomy software (with reference customers) and finance systems to major clarifications with significant licensing implications
- Iterative refinement leading to the provider’s final offer, including support all the way to contract signature
- Support in the selection of the implementation partner
- Handovers and kickoff preparation for the system introduction
