We\u2019re looking for someone who has a deep technical understanding of the solution: system architecture, interfaces, data flows, and dependencies. Someone who understands these aspects can identify risks before they appear in status reports, challenge architectural recommendations, and make decisions rather than escalating them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You don\u2019t need to be familiar with every technology. But you must be willing to dive deep into any technology used in your project, to the point where you can speak with developers and architects on an equal footing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:13px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your Role<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You\u2019ll lead implementation projects at client sites\u2014both technically and organizationally\u2014in teams that include internal staff, service providers, and freelancers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your day-to-day work will involve: gathering requirements, understanding processes, writing specifications, and prioritizing the backlog.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You\u2019ll familiarize yourself with the technologies used in your project\u2014from system architecture to integrations\u2014and contribute effectively to technical discussions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You make and justify decisions, even when business units and IT disagree, and review technical proposals rather than simply passing them along.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You keep deadlines, budget, and scope in check without hiding behind status reports and processes, demonstrating the skills of a project manager.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To the client, you are the person who maintains the big picture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:12px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What You Bring to the Table<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Consultant, or Project Manager on digital projects, with responsibility for the final outcome.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solid technical understanding: system landscapes, architectures, integrations, APIs, and data. You can read an interface specification without needing it translated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with digital platforms such as e-commerce, ERP, CRM, or PIM, and an instinct for the technical cost of a requirement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The curiosity and perseverance to familiarize yourself with unfamiliar technologies until you truly understand them\u2014not just know their names.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience managing external service providers and freelancers, including handling difficult conversations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in requirements engineering and specification, both traditional and agile, depending on the project.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The ability to present complex issues in a way that enables senior management to make decisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluency in German and English; willingness to travel; work location in St. Gallen or Bern.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:12px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This isn&#8217;t for you if&#8230;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u2026 you view project management as simply keeping track of deadlines and status updates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2026 you generally pass on technical questions to others.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2026 you see learning a new technology as an extra burden rather than part of the job.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2026 you\u2019d rather document conflicts than resolve them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:12px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What We Offer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Meaningful projects.
