They define how data quality, model transparency, and human oversight interact, ensuring trust, control, and speed stay in balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>New Design Frameworks and Tools for Data-Driven Organizations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The classic tools of business architecture, such as <strong>capability maps<\/strong>, <strong>process models<\/strong>, and <strong>operating models<\/strong>, come from a world of human control and stable workflows. They show what an organization can do and how it operates, but not how it learns, decides, and adapts dynamically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To design data- and AI-based value creation, new or extended tools are needed that treat data, decisions, and governance as first-class elements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Data Value Maps:<\/strong> An extension of traditional capability maps that includes data flows, data sources, and their contribution to value creation. They define when decisions are automated, assisted, or manual.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>AI Governance Frameworks:<\/strong> New reference models that define responsibilities, transparency requirements, and control mechanisms between humans and machines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Feedback and Learning Loops:<\/strong> Architectural building blocks that embed continuous improvement through monitoring, model training, and automated adjustments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Trust Layer Architecture:<\/strong> A new architectural layer that integrates data quality, model transparency, and compliance requirements to ensure trust in automated decisions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These tools form the core of a new business architecture discipline where <strong>data is the primary dimension<\/strong> of value. Architecture no longer means structuring processes.
